Once the stone reached the optimal temperature, the pizza went in—and just 60 seconds later, it was done. The crust came out beautifully blistered with an even golden char, the cheese was fully melted without burning, and the bottom was crisp yet airy. It didn’t need any rotation or adjustment mid-bake. That level of consistency and heat distribution is exactly why the Koda 2 took the top spot in my 2025 pizza oven rankings.

Carbon Pizza Oven, on the other hand, heated up slightly faster—reaching around 740–760°F in about 10 minutes. However, that speed came with a learning curve.
